The ANBUG-AINSE Neutron Scattering Symposium, ANBUG-2018 will be held on 19th – 21st Nov 2018 at the AINSE conference centre, Lucas Heights, New South Wales.
All presentations will take place in the AINSE Conference Centre where light refreshments will be served.
Lunches and the poster session will take place at the ANSTO Cafeteria, a building next door to the AINSE conference centre.
The conference dinner will be held in the Sutherland Room at Rydges overlooking the stunning Cronulla beach. Coaches will depart from the AINSE carpark at 6:00pm on Tuesday 20th November. Dinner will be from 7-10pm, smart dress code (no flip-flops or T-shirts).
Coaches will depart from Cronulla at 10:30pm returning delegates to Sutherland Train Station and AINSE. Please indicate if you plan to take the coach here.
Travel to the Symposium
The closest airport is Sydney International. The conference centre is approximately a 30 minute drive from the airport. The Airport link provides travel options via train from the airport to the conference centre.
The nearest train station is Sutherland Train Station. Timetable and further information can be found at Transport NSW.
Access is either via private car, taxi or shuttle bus from Sutherland station. Ample car-parking is provided on site. Access is via New Illawarra Road.

Limited accommodation is available at the Lucas Heights Motel, with twin and double rooms available. Costs at the Motel are as follows: Twin Room - $100, Family Room - $140. Please indicate on your registration form whether you require accommodation on site.
Students may have to share a room at the Lucas Heights Motel.
