DESCRIPTION:\n\nHome\n\nWe are pleased to announce that the 2018 ANBUG-AIN
 SE Neutron Scattering Symposium will be held on 19th – 21stNov 2018 at 
 the AINSE conference centre\, Lucas Heights\, New South Wales\, at the sit
 e of the ANSTO-operated OPAL research reactor near Sydney.\nThe symposium 
 is the biennial meeting of the neutron scattering community in Australia a
 nd New Zealand\, and also welcomes the many international users of the Aus
 tralian OPAL research reactor.\n\nAbout the Symposium\n\nWelcome to the AA
 NSS 2018 website. This year\, we have extended the programme to take pla
 ce over three days. There are a number of sessions in various fields of sc
 ience such as physics\, chemistry\, biology and engineering. There will al
 so be a session dedicated to neutron techniques.\n\nThis symposium is suit
 able for undergraduate and postgraduate students\, postdoctoral researcher
 s and scientists.  Limited accommodation is available on site.\n\nWe ar
 e keen to make this symposium available to as many people as possible\, th
 erefore student fees will be low. In addition\, students presenting from A
 INSE member institutions requiring flights to Sydney are eligible to apply
  for an AINSE travel scholarship. AINSE funding is for flights only with a
  limited number of scholarships available.\n\nWe are excited to provide th
 is opportunity to share the latest progress in science and engineering in 
 the neutron scattering world. We look forward to receiving your abstract
  and hearing about your research in November.  \n\nWe acknowledge the
