Description

The Soft X-Ray beamline is in the process of developing a High Vacuum Automated NEXAFS chamber. To this end we have started developing automated methods for collecting NXAFS data on our existing end station. This presentation will describe the latest automated procedures that we have implemented and tested as well as what is yet to come. It is envisioned that many of the automated procedures that we are currently developing will be directly transferable to the new High Vacuum Automated NEXAFS chamber. An overview of how we foresee the new chamber can run will be presented.
