The venue is easily accessible via Melbourne's tram network and is a short distance north of the central business district of Melbourne.
You can take trams No. 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67, 72 from Melbourne CBD to the University of Melbourne (Stop number 1) along Swanston Street. You need a Myki card to use trams and all public transport, Myki cards can be purchased from vending machines at major stations in the CBD or most convenience stores.
The School of Physics is about 4 minutes walking distance from the Melbourne University tram stop. Head north along Swanston Street from the tram stop, turn left at Tin Alley (Gate 1) and you would find the David Caro Building. The conference reception is located at the second floor of the David Caro Building (South Wing).
The closest parking to the David Caro Building is the Eastern Precinct Underground Carpark, all day parking is available for $25. Entry from 375 Cardigan Street, Carlton. You can reach the David Caro Building via the pedestrian bridge from the McCoy Building.
When you arrive on the first day, please make your way to the second floor of David Caro Building (South Wing) for registration. There are multiple ways to access the building, please follow the signage around the building.
