Computers

Tutorials will be run using the Demeter software package. Attendees should bring Windows laptops as Macs will not be supported.

Demeter software

Attendees should arrive with the latest version fully downloaded and installed on their own laptops.

Remote access

We will introduce a remote access format for this workshop via Zoom. This can be requested on the registration page.

Travel and accommodation

Flights to Melbourne, and accommodation will not be provided. However, the Synchrotron Guesthouse is open for bookings: https://www.ansto.gov.au/about/coming-to-visit/melbourne/australian-synchrotron-guesthouse

Bursaries

A limited number of competitive bursaries will be available for students and ECRs (<7 years post PhD) to support the costs of travel and accommodation (in the Guesthouse) up to the value of $500. If you would like to apply for a bursary, please tick the relevant box on the registration form when you submit an abstract detailing your XAS experience and why attendance at this workshop will benefit you.

Food

Teas and lunch will be provided as outlined in the program. Please indicate on your registration form any dietary requirements you may have.
