This meeting is dedicated to providing an inclusive, professional and harassment-free environment and workplace for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, etc.

All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Participants should consider the words they use. Remember that sexist, racist, and other exclusionary jokes can be offensive to those around you.

We do not tolerate harassment of meeting participants in any form.

What is covered?

This code of conduct covers all meeting participants including registered attendees, organisers, staff, volunteers, any guests, and other organised activities managed by the meeting including social events.

Harassment includes offensive communication related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, etc.

Excessive swearing and offensive jokes are not appropriate for meetings or social activities.

Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the meeting at the sole discretion of the meeting organisers.

What actions might be taken?

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in behavior that violates this code of conduct, the meeting organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the meeting.
