The 9th International Symposium on Technetium and Rhenium: Science and Utilization, will be held from November 5th to November 10th 2017 in Cronulla, Sydney, Australia. ISTR 2017 will be carrying forward the tradition established by over 20 years of meetings on Technetium and Rhenium that have occurred every three years. The meetings began in 1993 and have been held successively in 1993 (Sendai, Japan), 1996 (Moscow, Russia), 1999 (Shizuoka, Japan), 2002 (Dubna, Russia), 2005 (Oarai-Ibaraki, Japan), 2008 (Port-Elizabeth, South Africa), 2011 (Moscow, Russia), and 2014 (La Baule - Pornichet, France). The aim of ISTR 2017 is to cover all aspects of Technetium and Rhenium chemistry. The conference will be organized around plenary lectures (30-40 minutes), short lectures (15-20) minutes and poster sessions.
