Submit an abstract to present at the symposium

Researchers of all career stages are invited to submit an abstract to present their work as part of the symposium under one of the following themes: Health, Advanced materials and manufacturing, Energy, Food, Environment, Large research infrastructures, and Relationships, institutions and society.

Early- and mid-career researchers (EMCRs) are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract as they are the main audience for Theo Murphy Initiative (Australia) supported activities.

There are opportunities to present your research in person or online, and as an oral presentation or a poster. Mobility and accessibility support are available to presenters. These funds can be used to cover travel and accommodation for presenters outside of Sydney, pay for caring and accessibility costs, and more. Let us know the type of support you would like to receive to facilitate your attendance if you are selected to present at the symposium.
