DESCRIPTION:Overview\n\nThe School\n\nThe School will be run on Monday the
  19th of May.\nThe purpose of the school is to train students on experimen
 tal aspects and analysis techniques\, with a focus on X-ray Small Angle Sc
 attering and its application to nanoscale systems.\nStudents wishing to at
 tend the school and workshop will need to submit:\n\n\n    A short descrip
 tion outlining how attending the School and Workshop will benefit their re
 search (1 page maximum)\n    A letter of support from their university sup
 ervisor endorsing them attending the school.\n\n\n \n\nThe Workshop\n\nTh
 e Workshop will commence on the 20th of May at 8:00 am and conclude at 18:
 00 on the 21st of May.\n\nThe workshop will focus on applications of synch
 rotron X-rays\, Free Electron Lasers\, and neutron scattering to the field
 s of nanoscience and nanotechnology\, structural biology\, life sciences a
 nd pharmaceutical research\, molecular electronics\, surface science and r
 elated fields. The scope of the workshop is to inform students and researc
 hers as to the advances in research in these fields\, technique developmen
 t\, and to promote collaboration between Australian and Italian scientists
 .\n\nPresentations\n\nWorkshop participants who wish to give a presentatio
